Nollywood actress Ini Edo has made an emotional promise to her late colleague Alex Ekubo, assuring him and his family of a majestic and glorious burial befitting a man of his calibre as final rites get underway in Arochukwu, Abia State.
The movie star, who is currently in the late actor’s hometown for the burial preparations, shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram page while addressing the crew and reflecting on Alex’s impact.
“We will send you off in style and in Glory because you weren’t an ordinary guy. Even in your silence, your greatness was felt amongst your crew — a man of great wisdom, depth and substance. Your kind is rare, and we have gathered to make sure your exit is majestic… Forever in our hearts.”
She ended the tribute with the affectionate nickname “IKUKU EYENEKA 4 life,” showing the deep bond and respect she had for the late actor.
