Veteran Nollywood actress Shan George has passionately defended colleagues Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, urging Nigerians to stop the constant trolling and hate directed at the couple years after their controversial union.
In a strongly worded message posted on her Facebook page, Shan George questioned the motives of those still dragging the couple despite the time that has passed and the three children they now share together.
“If you are still at this point, still dragging YUL & JUDY, after all these years, and 3 kids down. It means you’re playing God, or you have another secret evil agenda.”
The actress reminded critics of core Christian teachings on forgiveness and warned against harbouring hate.
“Because that particular kind of Hate is what Jesus Christ spent years and died preaching about. If you are still hating, unforgiving, and still entering church. You have no FEAR OF GOD. Read ur Bible.”
She further advised the public against blocking their own blessings through hatred:
“Don’t use ur own hands to block ur own Blessings… Ur own hate for another person can stop ur blessings. This is why you can never catch me hating anyone.”
Shan George clarified that she has never met Judy Austin personally, addressing potential criticism head-on:
“First off, I’ve never met or spoken to Judy before in my life, so don’t get this twisted.”
She concluded by urging everyone to leave the matter to God:
“What has happened has already happened. Leave the rest to God. Everyone should leave it to GOD and MOVE ON.”
This defence comes amid renewed online discussions following recent comments by Judy Austin’s ex-husband, who made allegations about their past relationship.
