Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has fired a strong warning at a popular blog after it merged her comments in a way that went viral and portrayed her negatively regarding her baby’s father.
The mother of three, who recently revealed she welcomed a baby girl named Sal two years ago, is now threatening legal action against the blog for what she describes as consistent bullying and ridicule spanning over a decade. She wrote:
“For over 10 years, you have consistently tried your hardest to bully and ridicule me, but God no gree let you see road pass. I have given you several passes and warnings, even as recently as last year. I come with receipts.”
She accused the blog of deliberately merging two separate posts and comments to create a misleading narrative.
“You will have to explain to the court why you merged 2 separate posts and comments. Does this even make any sense? But not to worry, I’m coming for you. I play by the book, and you’re about to find out the hard way. You have made so much money with my name; it’s time you paid me royalties.”
The controversy started when Adunni responded to a fan praising her for keeping secrets. She revealed that her baby’s father did not know she was pregnant until days before the naming ceremony.
“Father that didn’t know until days to naming. No worry, that’s how I do. This one isn’t different.”
The actress noted that the blog later took down the post, but insisted she had already gathered her evidence.
“I see you took down the post instablog. Well, I have collected my evidence, and you’ll still prove to the court.”
Adunni Ade, who has a history of taking legal action against defamatory reports (including winning N20 million in damages in a previous case), made it clear she will not tolerate further exploitation of her name. This latest outburst highlights her determination to protect her privacy and family.
