BBNaija star Tacha is in tears after Air Peace allegedly left her stranded at the airport for hours, causing her to miss her best friend’s wedding. The emotional outburst, captured in a raw video shows the reality star venting frustration at the airline’s handling of a morning flight she booked well in advance.
In the clip, Tacha recounted her ordeal in detail.
“I booked the flight for 6 AM. I got to the airport 5 AM this morning with my daughter, with my assistant and driver. We went to the airport at 5am this morning… They said the flight is getting delayed by one hour. This is 11 AM and the flight hasn’t started boarding.”
She emphasized the impact on her plans.
“I’ve spent six hours in this freaking airport. You give people time to be at the airport till 11 and we still haven’t moved… You have spoilt my plans. You have destroyed my plans for today.”
The star, visibly upset, accused the airline of printing boarding passes despite knowing they lacked fuel. She directly called out the airline’s management.
“Mr Allen, your establishment is a fraudulent one. Your establishment is a wicked one… You guys are wicked. You are the devil itself.”
She highlighted the broader systemic issues.
“We’re in a country that the system doesn’t work… Nobody can sue your people. That’s why you’re going to print out boarding passes. If I decided to call Air Peace a scam organization, you people will say I’m doing too much.”
The delay reportedly forced her to cancel attendance at the wedding in Cross River state, where she had prepared extensively with her team. Her friends who were also traveling faced similar disruptions.
Air Peace has faced repeated criticism in the past for operational challenges, though the airline has not yet issued a statement on this specific incident.
