Itele’s Koleoso Hits 100 Million Views Milestone

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, is in full celebration mode after his blockbuster movie Koleoso reportedly crossed a historic milestone on YouTube.

Taking to Instagram, the proud actor announced that the film has surpassed 100 million views, boldly declaring it the first Nollywood title and first African movie to achieve such numbers on the platform as a single title.

In his words, the moment is nothing short of legendary.

“HISTORY. RECORD. LEGACY. KOLEOSO HITS 100MILLION + VIEWS In total,” he wrote.

Itele emphasized that the feat was achieved with just one film, not a series or compilation.

“Officially, the FIRST Nollywood title and the FIRST African movie title to hit this milestone on YouTube as ONE TITLE. Yes — ONE TITLE. ONE STORY. ONE MOVEMENT.”

Clearly proud of the journey, the actor gave credit to hard work and consistency.

“Hard work. Consistency. Creativity. From day zero, we won this.”

Then came the bold declaration that has set social media buzzing:

“Let this be known that I, Ibrahim Yekini Bakare (Iteledicon), am the FIRST to pull this stunt in the history of Nollywood. Do not deny me my flower.”

Itele described the milestone as bigger than himself, calling it a cultural victory.

“This is a WIN FOR NOLLYWOOD. This is a WIN FOR AFRICA. A win for THE CULTURE. A win for THE YORUBAS. A win for NIGERIA.”

Overflowing with emotion, he added:

“This hits different. This is LOUD. This is MAGICAL. This is UNBELIEVABLE. This is GOLDEN. Please use your calculator for clarity. Numbers don’t lie.”

Itele’s Koleoso Hits 100 Million Views Milestone

This achievement adds to what has already been a strong run for Itele in recent years. His projects have consistently pulled impressive numbers online, and he previously celebrated making Nigeria’s list of most searched series, describing the growth as “real and organic.”

He has also ranked among Top YouTube creators in Nigeria, crediting his loyal fan base, popularly known as the Koleoso Family, for pushing the vision.

Beyond the numbers, Itele’s story is also one of resilience. In earlier interviews, he spoke about his struggles before fame, recalling how he once sold jewellery to survive and how industry figures like Femi Adebayo played key roles in his journey.

From award wins to standout roles in epic productions, the actor’s rise has been steady. But with Koleoso hitting 100 million views, Itele believes this moment stands above the rest, and he’s making sure the world knows it.
