Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has sparked fresh reactions online after sharing a disturbing account of an alleged family clash involving his wife Bewaji and his fourth baby mama, Ashabi Simple.
In a viral video currently making the rounds, the singer accused Ashabi’s family of storming his house and attacking his household, claiming the incident happened just a day earlier.
Portable alleged that the situation turned violent and involved law enforcement.
According to him:
“Ashabi’s family came to my house yesterday to attack my family. My pregnant wife was beaten mercilessly. They arrived with police officers, and guns were pointed at my innocent children.”
The Zazoo crooner further claimed that the confrontation took a spiritual turn, alleging that Ashabi’s mother accused him of using juju on her daughter. Portable, however, denied the allegation and flipped it back at her.
He said Ashabi’s mother also questioned why he did not buy her a car, a demand he appeared shocked by.
Despite the heated accusations, Portable revealed that Ashabi later pleaded with him privately, asking for forgiveness and peace.
In his words:
“Now, my people save me. Ashabi Simple is in one corner begging in the name of God, saying I should forgive her for the sake of the children she has for me.”
He added that she appealed to their past emotional bond:
“She also said I should consider the love between us cos we started with love and shouldn’t end it with fight.”
