Popular Nigerian social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has released a fresh audio clip involving a woman who claims to be the daughter of Lagos-based cleric Pastor Chris Okafor, reigniting controversy around the pastor.
The woman, who identified herself as Chidera Precious Okafor, alleged that she once lived in Pastor Chris Okafor’s household and left around 2020 after feeling unsafe in the environment.
The short audio clip was shared on VeryDarkMan’s Instagram page on December 23, 2025, and has since sparked intense reactions across social media. According to Chidera, she is one of several alleged daughters of the cleric, born to different women.
Her account appears to support earlier claims made by another woman who had also alleged she was Pastor Okafor’s daughter, marking the third similar testimony linked to the cleric in recent days.
Reacting to the audio, VeryDarkMan described the testimony as disturbing. In his caption, he wrote:
“Pastor Chris Okafor, this is yet another pathetically t3rr!ble testimony from one of your daughters, your own flesh and blood… all three adult daughters of yours have given t3rr!ble testimonies. I literally threw up after listening to this particular testimony, at that age wow.”
In the audio, Chidera claimed she experienced unequal treatment in the household, noting that she was the only child from her mother, while the other children were from a different woman. She alleged that the difference in treatment was noticeable to both her and the domestic staff.
She also recounted a private encounter with the cleric that reportedly played a major role in her decision to leave the house. Introducing herself in the clip, she said:
“My name is Chidera Precious Okafor, and I’m the daughter of prophet Dr Chris Okafor. I used to live with him years ago and I left around 2020 because things were about to get out of hand.”
She continued:
“While I was living in the house, amongst all my siblings, I am the only one from my mother, while the other four are from a different mom. I used to get treated unfairly, and even the workers in the house could see it.”
The audio ends abruptly as she begins to narrate a meeting that left her deeply unsettled. VeryDarkMan clarified that only a brief clip has been released so far, with the full recording yet to be made public.
As of press time, Pastor Chris Okafor has not issued an official response to the latest allegations.
