Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has issued a final warning to dispatch rider Opeyemi, accusing him of harassing her with unsolicited photographs, videos and sexually explicit material months after he first professed love to her.
In a lengthy social media post, the actress said the rider has been contacting her through more than 30 different phone numbers despite repeated blocks and a clear demand that he stop. She said she is keeping records and will take the matter to the police if he continues.
“Opeyemi, the dispatch rider, this is a final and very serious warning. After making a delivery to me, you sent an unsolicited romantic message, which I found inappropriate and offensive. I reported your conduct to the company you worked for and spoke publicly about what happened,” she wrote.
The clash began earlier this year when Opeyemi messaged Sarah after a delivery and declared his feelings. She called the approach disrespectful, reported him to his company, and later said he was only cautioned, not sacked, after he claimed he had lost his job. She still unblocked him, took him to lunch and shopping, and allowed a used motorcycle gifted by a follower to reach him. She has always maintained the outing was charity, not romance.
“Despite the backlash I received, I still chose to treat you with humanity. I called you, spoke with you, took you to lunch and went shopping for you. I found your personality uncomfortable, including dishonesty, entitlement, ingratitude and disrespect,” she said.
She later said she learned Opeyemi was married with a daughter, a claim she said neighbours and workmates confirmed after he told her he was single. That discovery, she said then, was one reason she would never “date low.”
Her new post draws a hard line.
“Do not send me photographs, videos or unsolicited sexual material. Any further unsolicited nude or sexually explicit material will be preserved as evidence and reported to the appropriate authorities.”
She added:
“I am keeping records of the phone numbers, messages and other forms of harassment. Do not delete, alter or attempt to conceal any communications you have sent. This is your final warning. If you contact me again or continue to harass me, I will pursue the matter formally through law enforcement and any other appropriate legal channels. I will not debate, negotiate or issue repeated warnings. Respect my boundary or face the law!”
There was no public response from Opeyemi at the time of writing. The actress’s warning has revived the February saga that first split social media between those who backed her for reporting unsolicited advances and those who accused her of humiliating a delivery worker.
