Superboy Cheque has shared the priceless wisdom Wizkid dropped on him during their interactions, while opening up about his admiration for both Wizkid and Davido’s different strengths in the music industry.
On the latest episode of The Clarity Zone Podcast hosted by Nedu, the talented singer addressed the eternal fan debate between 30BG and Wizkid FC when asked which side he leans toward.
“I like them for different reasons. For collaboration, it depends on what I want at that time. I like Wizkid for his steeze and I like Davido for his loving and accommodating personality,” Cheque explained.
He praised Wizkid’s depth beyond the surface:
“Wizkid is also accommodating because anytime I’m with him, he drops knowledge. The first advice he gave me was ‘know when to leave the table.’ In this life, wisdom is wisdom, just know when to apply it.”
Cheque’s revelation about the simple yet powerful advice has gone viral, with many fans interpreting it as a masterclass in timing, business, and knowing when to walk away from unprofitable situations.
The “Zoom” crooner also weighed in heavily on the rap scene during the podcast. When discussing his university days with Blaqbonez, Cheque made a bold declaration:
“I think Blaqbonez is the best rapper in Nigeria. By a mile.”
He added that while he could challenge Blaqbonez if he wanted to go serious, he wasn’t interested. Nedu then brought up YCee as a potentially better rapper and Chèque said:
“I’ll always pick Blaqbonez over YCee because he’s my friend. In my opinion, Blaqbonez is a better rapper than YCee.”
Cheque’s honest takes have sparked massive reactions online, with supporters hailing his maturity in appreciating both Wizkid and Davido while staying loyal to his circle.
