Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has made an emotional appeal to her fans, urging them to shift attention from the recent public drama with colleague Funke Akindele and focus instead on her upcoming movie. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Toyin pleaded for calm while expressing deep appreciation for her supporters.

“Hi, my lovely fans, Love Between Two Altars will start showing on Tuesday, the 7th of April, on Toyin Abraham TV on YouTube. Also, to my lovely ToyinTittans, I love you, I appreciate you, and God will bless you all. Please, I beg you, let’s focus! Pls I’m on my knees.”
The appeal comes days after the star-studded premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s film, The Return of Arinzo, on Sunday night, where Toyin Abraham publicly greeted Funke Akindele but received no response.

The incident reignited long-standing rumours of rivalry between the two actresses, who have frequently been compared as box-office heavyweights.
Toyin’s husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, publicly appreciated her for listening to him and keeping quiet despite wanting to speak out. Veteran actress Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje) claimed she had already stepped in to resolve the issue by calling both parties and asking them to remove everything from social media.
In her latest message, Toyin appears determined to redirect the narrative back to her work. Her plea has drawn supportive comments from fans, many of whom promised to focus on the movie and ignore the drama.
