Popular Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has opened up about her thoughts on marriage, revealing that kindness matters more to her than money or status.
The media personality and actress made this known during a recent conversation with broadcaster Morayo Afolabi-Brown, where she spoke candidly about love, standards, and the kind of man she hopes to settle down with.
Nancy, who is now 34, said she believes she is at the right stage in her life to consider marriage seriously.
In her words:
“I am of marriage age. I am 34. Yes, I am a very attractive lady and men can desire me. But I have to choose what I settle with.”
The actress explained that while attention from admirers is not lacking, she is more focused on making the right emotional choice rather than being swayed by superficial qualities.
According to Isime, genuine kindness is the most important trait she looks out for in a partner.
She stressed that she is not interested in performative gestures but in real character.
“First of all, I like kindness. I find kindness one of the most attractive traits.”
She added:
“Before you can be my friend or even relate with me, not to talk of getting married to me, you have to be kind. And I don’t mean performative. I mean genuine kindness. Once you are kind, everything else can be worked on.”
