Nigerian singer Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, popularly known as Qdot, has opened up on the lingering trauma he is battling months after being robbed at gunpoint.
Entertainment Reporter recalls that in September 2025, the singer revealed that armed robbers invaded his home around 2:30am, carting away his phones, laptops, and draining his bank accounts. The assailants also reportedly took over his social media accounts before fleeing.
Five months after the frightening incident, Qdot has revealed that the emotional scars are yet to heal.
In an emotional post shared via his official social media page, the singer disclosed that fear has become a constant part of his life, forcing him to relive the experience nightly.
“Even though September 28 has passed, the trauma is still with me. I wake up every night at 2:30 a.m. in fear and can no longer sleep peacefully,” he wrote.
Qdot further revealed that the incident has deeply affected his sense of safety and peace of mind, prompting him to turn to prayer while also calling on authorities to act.
“I pray for healing and peace, and for stronger government action so this suffering can finally end,” he added, while tagging Lagos State Government and security agencies.
The singer’s experience adds to the growing list of Nigerian celebrities who have publicly shared their encounters with violent crime.

Actor Jide Awobona also recounted a terrifying ordeal involving his wife, who was threatened at gunpoint by robbers, while actress Yvonne Jegede narrated how she narrowly escaped a robbery attempt while stuck in traffic at night.
