Nigerian singer Portable has sparked fresh drama online after publicly calling out Tanzanian star Juma Jux who is also actress Iyabo Ojo’s son-in-law, for visiting Nigeria and recording a new song without informing him.
In a fiery Instagram post, Portable expressed shock that Juma Jux entered the country and collaborated with his “brother,” singer Ekunrawo, without his knowledge.
According to him, it was disrespectful for such a collaboration to happen behind his back. Sharing a snippet of the upcoming single, the Zazu crooner wrote:
“So @juma_jux enter Naija do song with my bro @officialekunrawo and nobody tell me… e don set ooo, una must find space put me for this HALIMA song.”
He then made a direct demand to be included on the track titled Halima, urging the team to add him to the collaboration.
His outburst immediately stirred reactions online, with fans urging Juma Jux to avoid the singer, while others argued that Portable’s presence could boost the song’s reach.
@succi_collections begged, “Portable leave us alone o, na beg we dey.” @tinny_touch_ stated, “Portable na Lizzy brother, no near them.” @adunnyadeh19 recalled, “You forgot you have abused his mother-in-law.”
@king_sizeeg noted, “Funny enough, Portable would give this song the publicity it deserves. Please let’s hear the remix of you in it.” @freedah_official said, “No space! No vex! Na Juma send me to you.” @princess_juliet_sb prayed against him, “I forbid you in Juma’s life.”
This is not the first time Portable is calling out public figures. Just last month, he blasted the Big Brother Naija organisers for not inviting him to the show, insisting he would have made the house “sweet.” He described himself as a “star,” a stylist, and a certified street king who deserved a spot.

In August, he also bragged about the dominance of his music on streaming platforms, throwing jabs at critics and declaring that his success speaks for itself: A “successful person,” according to him, “doesn’t beg people to download songs.”
Portable shot to fame in December 2021 with his viral hit Zazu Zeh, featuring Olamide and Poco Lee. Despite his endless controversies, the singer has grown into a household name, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Davido, Tiwa Savage, Phyno, Skepta, Peter Obi, MC Oluomo, and even the Ooni of Ife.
Whether Juma Jux will accept Portable’s demand to jump on Halima remains to be seen, but for now, the street king has made his intentions loud and clear.
