Nigerian superstar Davido has sparked a heated conversation online after responding sharply to a fan who suggested that his fanbase needs a more organised structure.
The conversation began when a Twitter user identified as MICHAEL (@5ivecharts), posted a long advisory directed at the Grammy-nominated singer. In his words:
“Plenty people won’t speak up but I will, at the risk of getting blacklisted. We need a select few of big accounts in contact with a responsible person from his team to coordinate and create a structure for this fanbase, and use it positively….”
But Davido was in no mood for suggestions.
The singer fired back almost instantly with a blunt, now-viral response:
“U Dey crase.”
Moments later, he doubled down with an even more direct message:
“We Dey stack millions of $… u Dey talk about group chat. FEM.”
The reply triggered mixed reactions across social media, with many debating whether the fan meant well or was overstepping.

This is not the first time conversations aboubt Davido’s online fanbase have surfaced.
His fans popularly called 30BG are known for their loyalty and aggressive online presence, but critics often argue that their activities lack structure compared to other major fanbases.
Davido’s latest reaction suggests he is unbothered by such discussions, prioritising his business success and global moves over fan-coordination strategies.
