Nollywood star Regina Daniels has publicly slammed the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, after he stated that she “needs help” while commenting on her ongoing marital controversy.
Rollas, in an earlier statement, referenced two past incidents involving the actress and questioned why colleagues who witnessed them had remained silent. His remarks quickly sparked reactions across the industry.
But Regina Daniels did not hold back. Taking to her Instagram story, she unleashed a lengthy and fiery response, calling Rollas “a disgrace of a president” and accusing him of enriching himself under the guise of serving actors.
In her direct and emotional post, the actress wrote:
“AGN president. Respectfully, there must be something wrong with you, sir! To say I need help? You have no business spewing nonsense about my family or my mum, who always sang your praises, but I wouldn’t.”
She accused Rollas of neglecting his duty to protect actors, claiming that in eight years, he has failed to enforce any meaningful policy on actors’ welfare or residuals.
“You are a disgrace of a president who visits one office to the other, enriching his pocket in the guise of catering to the well-being of actors. If not, tell me why you haven’t enforced anything on actors’ protection and residuals in 8 years.”
Regina said the only visible achievement of his administration was the newly opened AGN office—something she claims her family largely funded.
In another shocking allegation, the actress claimed that Rollas’ bitterness toward her is rooted in a previous confrontation where she stopped him from bringing women to her family home “to take swimming lessons.”
“Well, I’m not shocked because that’s how you get paid, bringing women to my family home several times, taking swimming lessons, which I warned you about, hence your bitterness.”
She further alleged:
“That’s what you’ve always done to high-profile men you visit; lure them with women so your pocket can get bigger.”
Regina questioned Rollas’ motives, suggesting he was paid to speak against her.
“I can say for a fact that you were paid chicken change to speak nonsense about a child who benefited from nothing under your administration.”
She added that she had given him more honour than he deserved through her ex-husband and her mother.
The actress concluded by expressing her full support for her mother’s ambition within the guild:
“I’m still in awe that you would try to discredit my mother’s election after all she has done for you. In support of my mother’s election, I believe she has paid her dues… a beautiful female president with advanced male advisors is what the industry needs.”
