You No fit Pay Your Ambassador ₦20M — Mr Real Mocks D’banj’s $3 Billion C.R.E.A.M Valuation

Singer Mr Real has taken a swipe at veteran entertainer D’banj after the Kokomaster claimed during his recent appearance on Seun Okinbaloye’s Mic On podcast that his talent platform, C.R.E.A.M, is currently worth $3 billion.

In a video circulating on social media, Mr Real mocked the valuation and accused D’banj of failing to pay him as an ambassador despite negotiating a discounted fee. The “Legbegbe” crooner said:

“I hear one egbon say hin company worth 3 billion. Dem even dey beg, we still give am discount, dem no fit pay.”

Continuing with heavy sarcasm, he added:

“Baba, no be 2018, 2019 we dey ooo. We dey 2025. All this packaging no dey chop us again. 3 billion! Anyway, e depend on the cream, whether na ice cream or body cream.”

Mr Real also questioned the business model of C.R.E.A.M and what exactly it does to justify such an astronomical valuation.

His comments have reignited conversations online about celebrities “over-packaging” their brand value and inflating net-worth claims.

The video triggered a wave of reactions across social media as Nigerians debated both artists’ statements.

@samvail__ wrote, “Seems Nigerians almost forgot what a billion dollar is… the way people talk about billion dollar like it’s billion naira. Do you know what Otedola is worth? Hmmm, D’banj calm down.” @citizen_stev commented, “Bleaching cream ambassador?” @omotola_skincare_luxuryhomes added, “Why una dey quick drag una helper like dis?” @quansgram joked, “Nah mistake, e no mean am. Nah 20 thousand e wan talk.” @cecilia_remi_ said, “D’banj sef is inflating his brand for us, no be only $3 billion.”

As of press time, D’banj has not responded to Mr Real’s remarks or the ongoing internet debate.
