Ned Nwoko Makes Shocking Revelations About Regina Daniels’ Family

Nigerian lawmaker and businessman Senator Ned Nwoko has finally spoken out following viral allegations of domestic violence levelled against him by his wife, Regina Daniels, and her family.

A week ago, Regina’s siblings had accused the senator of physically assaulting her; an allegation that triggered massive public outrage online.

In a detailed statement released via his Twitter and Facebook pages, Nwoko dismissed the allegations as “a pure Nollywood scenario”, insisting that the viral video of Regina and her family was “planned and orchestrated in my absence.”

“The video was simply a script they acted out in my house while I was away. It is blatantly false to say that I sent thugs to beat Regina. Everything that happened that day took place in my property, but I wasn’t even around,” Nwoko stated.

The senator also made bombshell revelations about the circumstances surrounding their marriage and Regina’s alleged battle with substance use.

According to him, his wife had been undergoing rehabilitation due to worrying changes in her behaviour, and her family members, particularly her brothers Sammy and Lawrence, repeatedly interfered with her recovery.

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around. His visits were often aggressive and disruptive,” Nwoko wrote. “This is someone I sponsored through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma. I bought him musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, in addition to the house I had bought for Regina in Asaba before our marriage.”

He revealed that he had spent over ₦125 million on Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, and continued to provide financial support to the family.

“Indeed, in the last two years, I have a record of transferring ₦125 million to her alone,” he said.

Nwoko alleged that Regina’s siblings and friends, including actress Uche Montana, constantly smuggled substances into his home against medical advice.

“The therapy was arranged after I noticed troubling changes in her behaviour linked to her dependence on certain illegal substances, including going for 48 hours without sleeping and eating every two hours,” he revealed. “Unfortunately, Sammy, Destiny, and their friends constantly defied doctors’ instructions. They would come into the house uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in, and would bring her the same drugs she was being treated for.”

The senator also claimed that a recent confrontation between him and Regina’s brother, Sammy, escalated after he asked that Sammy’s girlfriend leave his home.

“Around 4 a.m., I realised Regina was in my room talking on the phone. She was clearly high, and I don’t allow her in my room in that condition. When I found out Sammy’s girlfriend was in her room, I asked that the girl leave immediately. Thirty minutes later, Sammy came shouting and demanding I face him,” he recounted. “He said I had no right to ask his girlfriend to leave my house. His behaviour was shocking and disrespectful. Without the influence of drugs, could he have been so bold?”

Nwoko added that the group had verbally assaulted police officers stationed at the residence, accusing them of restricting access to Regina based on medical instructions.

“Whenever Regina wanted to go out and I was not around, she would become extremely hostile toward the police and domestic staff. She would shout, threaten, and use abusive words, insisting that she must leave the house no matter what,” he said.

As public tension continues to build around the case, Ned Nwoko’s lengthy statement has added a dramatic new twist to what has become one of the most talked-about celebrity controversies of the year.
