Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after receiving a ₦20 million donation to support her charity initiative aimed at feeding underprivileged children.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress penned an emotional note of appreciation, revealing that the funds will be used to secure a proper space for her feeding program in full compliance with Lagos State Environmental Laws and Standards.
In her words:
“My heartfelt appreciation to Mr Seyi Tinubu, @seyitinubu, the Noella Foundation, friends and associates of S.T. for supporting the vision to feed less privileged kids. This money ₦20,000,000 will be judiciously put into acquiring a space where we can scale cooking to feed more people, but most importantly, in compliance with Lagos State Environmental laws and standards, ensuring that public health and safety are never compromised.”
She further reaffirmed her commitment to humanitarian work, adding:
“I am committed to humanity as a means of supporting the Government to achieve SDG goals as an Ambassador of peace and humanity. On behalf of @goldenheartfoundation2, we are committed to reducing the burden on the Government by putting more smiles on the faces of street kids.”
This heartwarming development comes just days after Sarah Martins cried out on social media over an alleged assault by Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) officials while cooking for the less privileged. The actress had shared a video of her bruised hand, sparking outrage and sympathy across social media.
What seemed like a painful experience has now turned into an unexpected blessing, as Seyi Tinubu not only gifted her ₦20 million but also promised to help elevate her free food outreach to greater heights.
Earlier this month, the Asaba-based actress also received ₦1 million from Cubana Chief Priest’s wife to support her charity project, as well as food donations from fans who continue to celebrate her humanitarian spirit.
With Seyi Tinubu’s backing, Sarah Martins says she’s more motivated than ever to feed, empower, and bring hope to children living on the streets.
