Sophia Momodu threatens legal action against Davido over alleged cyberbullying, harassment
Sophia Momodu, the mother of singer Davido’s daughter Imade, has threatened legal action against him for allegedly endangering her life, cyberbullying, and harassment.
The businesswoman’s lawyers sent Davido a cease and desist letter, accusing him of making defamatory remarks and sponsoring negative publications about her.
In the letter dated January 10, Sophia claimed that Davido has continued with his “disruptive and unlawful conduct” despite an ongoing investigation following a petition against him.
Sophia also stated that Davido’s behaviour and actions are “Impeding our efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution concerning the arrangements for the care and welfare of Imade which is of paramount importance.”
The concluding part of the letter read: “Please take note that unless your client discontinues the acts of threats, harassment and cyberbullying against our clients in the next 48 hours, our clients retain the rights to pursue all available legal remedies.”
