‘I got enough music to retire’ – Wizkid says on 33rd birthday

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, is a Grammy-winning singer from Nigeria who believes he has a large enough body of work to retire.

The singer spoke with Capital Extra’s Manny Norte after turning 33 on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

When they last met, the Starboy executive allegedly told the interviewer that he “got enough music to retire.”

Wizkid reckoned: “Come on, my brother. And we are still recording music everyday [laughs]. So, imagine how much music I have now.”

The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner also hinted that his sixth studio album is on the way.

He said, “I got a new album ready, bro. New Wiz’s album. I’m dropping a new song next week. In a couple of days, mehn.”
