It’s official, we back – Davido says as he speaks on marriage, music and more
David Adeleke, known by his stage name, Davido, an award-winning Afrobeats singer, has spoken out for the first time in a long while after his ‘radio silence.’
The leader of the 30BG and record label boss in a recent interview with media personality KieKie spoke about his marriage, music, and family time.
Davido who recently announced his fourth album, ‘Timeless,’ at the end of his social media hiatus, was seen in the video showing off his wedding band. The fall cronner also spoke about his upcoming projects and how he misses his fans.
He revealed how he had an album ready before his social media break and how he and his team had to rework on the album which will be dropping 31 March, 2023 (tomorrow). Davido echoed to his fans that he, OBO is coming!
Davido is known for his unique blend of Afrobeats, pop, and R&B, and he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Baby. His previous albums, “Omo Baba Olowo,” “A Good Time,” and “A Better Time,” have all been critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
The title of the new album, “Timeless,” suggests that Davido is aiming for his music to stand the test of time.
Meanwhile, the singer announced the 17-track album on his social media pages on Wednesday night. It features both local and foreign artists, including Skepta, Asake, Fave, and Focalistic.
Tracks in the project include ‘Over Dem’, ‘In the Garden, ‘Godfather,’ ‘Feel,’ ‘Unavailable’, ‘Kante’, ‘Bop’, ‘E Pain Me’, ‘Away,’ ‘Precision’, ‘Na Money’, ‘U (Juju)’, ‘No Competition’, ‘Picasso’, ‘For the Road’, ‘LCND’, and ‘Champion Sound’.
Additionally, Davido included a snippet from a Spotify interview in which he was asked to sum up the album in one word, and he chose “Timeless.”
