Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has gotten candid about one of her most humbling moments in love, and she is telling it with equal parts honesty and humour.
In a recent Instagram post, the film star recalled a past relationship where she found herself in the deeply uncomfortable position of begging a man to unblock her, not to confront him, but to apologise for catching him cheating.
“Me remembering how I was begging a man to unblock me so I can apologise for catching him cheating on me,” she wrote.
She did not stop there. Blessing went further to acknowledge that love has a way of making people act completely against their own judgment, and that she is still very much under its spell.
“I still love like a fool till tomorrow, because love is a beautiful thing,” she added.
The actress also gave her followers a heads up about a new relationship on the horizon, with a firm warning attached.
“In few days I will launch a new babe; if any of you all know him, keep quiet and enter your house. I don’t want to hear anything,” she wrote.
The post came shortly after Blessing publicly defended actress Evelyn Cute, who had gone missing following a breakup. In that context, Blessing noted that love is the closest thing to madness, adding that if people knew the full extent of what she had done in its name, they would be shocked.
