“Heartbreak Made Me Sleep With 200 Women Per Year!” — Phenom Opens Up

Nigerian rapper Phenom has shared a raw and deeply personal account of how a single heartbreak pushed him into a period of intense promiscuity that left lasting scars. Speaking at the NLP Singles Connect Conference, the artist detailed how the pain of a broken relationship led him to sleep with around 200 women in a single year, a pattern he repeated for two consecutive years.

Phenom described the phase as a form of emotional chaos.

“It was one heartbreak, actually, that made me just go crazy. It was 200 girls in a year at the time. So I did that for like two years straight,” he said.

The lifestyle brought constant anxiety. He admitted he lived in fear of contracting HIV, with every small symptom triggering panic.

“It was so bad. I didn’t even have peace of mind. I felt like I had HIV, man. If I should sneeze, I’ll be like, ‘Hey, I have contracted something.’”

The consequences were physical as well. Phenom revealed he contracted gonorrhea eight times within those two years. The infections became so frequent that he learned to recognize the symptoms himself.

“In two years, I had gonorrhea eight times. It was crazy. It was so bad that when I go to the pharmacist, I’ll tell them I have gonorrhea. They’ll say, ‘How did you know?’ I could diagnose myself,” he recounted.

His turning point came through a conversation that redirected his path. Someone advised him that reaching certain goals required letting go of harmful habits. That advice led him to Christianity.

“But I met somebody that told me, like, ‘Oh, for you to attain certain things, you need to let go of certain things.’ And I got introduced to God,” Phenom explained.

From there, he chose a radical change and remained celibate for about ten years.

The discipline carried him through to marriage. Phenom got married in 2026 and confirmed that he and his wife waited until their wedding night.

“I also went celibate for like 10 years before I got married. And I got married this year as well. So, I didn’t have sex with my wife until our wedding night,” he stated.

He added that the transformation went beyond physical abstinence and deepened his relationship with God while bringing positive shifts in other areas of his life.
