Nollywood actor Ricardo Agbor has survived a ghastly crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway after sharing video of a vehicle so badly wrecked that colleagues immediately flooded his page with thanksgiving. The incident happened near the Cornerstone City billboard in Ibadan, Oyo State, and the actor posted the wreckage himself rather than wait for second-hand reports.
His caption was brief and shaken.
“As I was saying, thank God Almighty I made it out of this. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ.”
That line became the centre of the story because the pictures left little room for argument. The car was crushed. The man who drove it was still here to talk.
As of the time of writing, the cause of the accident had not been made public. Agbor did not describe how the crash started, whether another vehicle was involved, or how he climbed out. What he made clear was gratitude. Fans and fellow actors treated the post as a testimony, flooding his comments with thanksgiving.
Kevin Ikeduba wrote, “Thank you, God.” Segun Ogungbe echoed him with “Thank you, Lord.” Fausat Balogun posted “Alhamdulilahi Baba Dada Osee.” Mustapha Sholagbade added, “Alhamdulilahi, stay safe, sir,” while Akin Olaiya simply said, “Thank you, God.”
Agbor, also known as Rykardo Agbor, has spent decades working across English and Yoruba productions after starting out as a model in the 1990s.
