“Poco Lee Is Out!” — Peller Says Accuser Abandoned Rape Case

Nigerian dancer Poco Lee has reportedly walked free in the United Kingdom, according to livestreamer Peller and Burna Boy associate Benny, who say the woman behind the case walked away from court. The UK court has not issued a public confirmation.

Peller dropped the news on a livestream on Saturday, September 12, 2026, after a viewer asked if the dancer was still locked up.

“Yes o guys, Poco Lee is out. They said the girl that sued Poco Lee ran away from the case. God will bless the girl, it’s God that’ll bless her, she is a good person.”

Benny went further. In a series of X post, he wrote that Poco Lee was innocent and that people wanted to set him up. He thanked Burna Boy and Rahman Jago for working behind the scenes.

“BREAKING: POCO LEE IS NOW RELEASED. ALL THANKS TO BURNA BOY AND RAHMAN JAGO FOR WORKING TIRELESSLY BEHIND THE SCENES. Poco lee was innocent. They wanted to set him up.”

On TVC that morning, comedian Carter Efe also congratulated the dancer and said Rahman Jago had been celebrating since Friday. Jago had posted cryptic messages a day earlier that fans read as a signal something had shifted.

Peller’s account has not been independently confirmed by Snaresbrook Crown Court or UK prosecutors. Some viewers pointed out that a plea and trial preparation hearing had been listed for September 15.

“If you believe this narrative! I have a plane to sell to you,” one user wrote.

Another said the country should wait for official paperwork instead of treating a livestream as a verdict.

Iweh Pascal Odinaka, known as Poco Lee, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on 18 August 2026 and was remanded in custody. Snaresbrook Crown Court’s admin team leader, James Baker, later confirmed the charges to Nigerian media: attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. The alleged incidents were said to have happened in Tower Hamlets on 23 July 2026. A reporting restriction protects the complainant’s identity. Poco Lee has not been convicted. Under UK law he remains innocent until a court says otherwise.

He had been in London around Davido’s Crystal Palace Bowl show on 14 August. Reports of the remand exploded days later. Rahman Jago, a close friend and Burna Boy associate, asked the public not to turn the case into content and said there was more to the story than the streets had heard.
