Media personality Do2dtun has publicly thrown his weight behind dancer Poco Lee, even as a United Kingdom court confirmed serious sexual offence charges against the entertainer.
In a series of social media posts, the former Cool FM host said he still sees the man he knows as one of the happiest and most peaceful figures in Nigerian entertainment. He insisted the law must run its course, but added that he will not abandon the dancer until a court finds him guilty.
“I hope Poco Lee beats this. Hate it or love it, I personally think he is one of the happiest people a lot of us have met. He will fill the room with joy, never gets in a fight and respects everyone,” Do2dtun wrote.
Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, is currently on remand in the UK. Snaresbrook Crown Court in London has confirmed that he faces one count of attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. A reporting restriction is in place to protect the identity of the complainant. His next appearance is scheduled for September 15, 2026, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

The dancer had travelled to the UK earlier in August and appeared at the Davido and Friends concert at Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14 before news of his detention broke.
Do2dtun did not dismiss the gravity of the allegations. He described rape as a serious crime and said anyone found guilty deserves the strongest punishment. At the same time, he argued that false accusers should face similar consequences.
“The other vices he is accused of are serious ones and beyond comprehension. Let the law take its course, but I’ll continue to stand with what I know about him till he is proven guilty,” he said.
He also drew a line between personal loyalty and rushing to judgement.
“You can’t vouch for anyone, especially what they do behind closed doors, but you can identify patterns and what you have noticed with them. Poco is a good guy with a good heart. I won’t judge him, but I won’t knock off the feelings of the alleged victim. Everyone deserves a fair share of justice. If this is true, then let the law take its course.”
The OAP pointed to Poco Lee’s public record, saying the dancer had never been linked to a scandal of this nature before now. He described him as someone who avoids conflict and protects his peace.
“Let’s consider that Poco has never had one scandal until now. Not one. I can also say he is not the type of person who gets into disputes that affect his peace. He will choose his peace. He is one of the most open-minded people in this industry. This will hurt everyone if he is found guilty, but more importantly, the alleged victim if it’s true. At the end of this, everyone will learn their lesson.”
Do2dtun’s comments add to a growing split in the industry. Filmmaker TG Omori called Poco Lee “the purest soul” he had ever met, while socialite Rahman Jago said he believed there was more to the story than what has circulated online. Portable has also accused some A-list stars of abandoning the dancer. Poco Lee’s management, meanwhile, has urged the public and media to stop spreading unverified claims, including drink-spiking rumours that the team says are not part of the charges before the court.
