“Go To School, Stop Fooling Yourself!” — Cynthia Morgan Slams VDM

Singer Cynthia Morgan has taken a sharp swipe at self proclaimed social media police VeryDarkMan (VDM), accusing him of lacking the resolve to confront Peter Okoye and resolve what she called the biggest quarrel in Afrobeats.

In a strongly worded Instagram post, Morgan addressed VDM without naming him directly but clearly targeting the activist who had recently weighed in on the ongoing clash between Peter Okoye (Mr P) and his brothers Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) and Jude Okoye.

“The false fearless man claims he found out Peter was lying to him after he spoke to the other parties involved and then you decided to start avoiding him. My question is are you even a man of resolution? Cause to me you lost the opportunity to resolve the biggest quarrel in afrobeats by not confronting Peter and you shouldn’t be proud of it,” she wrote.

In the caption, she added a further dig:

“I told you to go to school in private so you can turn your false confidence to something productive but you don’t listen. You see how you’re fooling yourself in public?”

Morgan’s post comes amid the intensified public feud within the Okoye family. Peter has released a series of videos detailing long-standing allegations against Jude, his former manager, and Paul, while Jude and others have pushed back.

VDM had inserted himself into the conversation, initially engaging with different sides before announcing his withdrawal and claiming Peter tried to use him.

The dancehall singer, who has her own history of disputes with Jude Okoye over management and royalties, has previously sided with Peter in the family rift, describing artists’ emotional outbursts as the result of long-suppressed pain. Her latest remarks escalate the personal angle by questioning VDM’s consistency and courage.
