Nollywood actor Stan Nze has sparked massive online reactions after openly admitting he banned bubu gowns in his household because he prefers his wife Blessing Obasi to show off her curves and look ravishing at all times.
While speaking in a recent interview with Morayo Afolabi Brown, the proud husband gushed over his wife’s body size, explaining that her fuller figure gives him “something to hold on to” and keeps his hands full in the most delightful way.
“I have banned bubu gowns in my household. My wife knows I don’t like them. I love my wife’s size because I have something to hold on to and my hands are always full. Although it’s more than the figure or the shape. I am contented with her.”
The actor emphasized that beyond physical attraction, emotional connection tops his list.
“I feel happy and fulfilled with her because she makes me laugh so much. We can talk about anything and everything without so much pressure, and that for me comes first,” he added.
Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi tied the knot in 2021 despite heavy criticism and body-shaming directed at his older wife. Many trolls questioned their union, mocked her appearance, and even called her barren before they welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in 2023.
Throughout their marriage, Stan has fiercely defended Blessing against online trolls, including one who attacked her for not using his surname on social media.
