Actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has strongly reacted to growing social media pressure urging him to allow his wife Judy Austin’s ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi, access to their children, insisting he has no role in the matter.
In a clear and firm social media post, Yul distanced himself from the ongoing dispute, directing Obasi to handle all arrangements directly with Judy Austin.
“Some of my fans have reached out to me, saying, ‘Please allow him to see his children.’ I have never stopped anybody from seeing his children. Tell him to call his ex-wife if he wants to see or take his children; let them discuss it. He has her number. It has nothing to do with me.”
He also criticised what he described as people dragging his name into personal matters for clout and social media engagement.
The response comes after Emmanuel Obasi, in an emotional podcast interview, made fresh allegations about his past marriage to Judy Austin and their two children. Obasi claimed Judy’s admiration for Yul went beyond normal fandom while they were still married, even presenting old photographs as evidence.
