The late actor, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 40 after a private battle with metastatic kidney cancer, had his remains received by his grieving wife, Anwuli Amakom, and family members at their residence in Ujari Village, Arochukwu. The emotional wake-keep took place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the family home located at 7 Ekubo-Okwaraeke Avenue, Aziukwukwa.

The burial ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2026, with a funeral service at the Mary Slessor School Field in Amanagwu Village, followed by interment at the family compound.
