“₦100M If Your Pastors Can Heal 1 Cripple!” — Daddy Freeze Dares Cross

Controversial media personality Daddy Freeze has intensified his fiery exchange with BBNaija star Cross, issuing a bold N100 million challenge to miracle-working pastors following criticism of his remarks at the late Alexx Ekubo’s Service of Songs.

The clash started after Cross told Daddy Freeze to stop attacking men of God. He wrote:

“Daddy Freeze with due respect sometimes keep your mouth shut. If you don’t know anything about our father Jesus Christ. Don’t talk. And leave men and women of GOD out of your mouth.”

Daddy Freeze responded with a strong video message, directly addressing Cross and throwing down the gauntlet.

“This message is for Cross. What’s all these deflection about? Men of God? Cross, I hereby challenge you, I put 50 million naira down and I will raise a further 50 making a total of 100 million naira. If one of your so-called men of God can heal just one of the 50 crippled people that I will provide. You can’t tell me that out of 50, you can’t find one that has faith. Children are in the bush, your men of God cannot even see where they are in the bush, let alone pray for them to come out. Another attack was done today. Young people are dying.”

Daddy Freeze referenced powerful biblical miracles to support his challenge.

“In John chapter 11, Christ raised Lazarus. In Acts chapter 20 verse 9, Paul raised Eutychus. Your men of God are attending service of songs for Lazarus and Eutychus that they should have raised.”

He made it clear that although he’s also a man of God, he does not claim healing power himself:

“What does my profile say? ‘Scripture teacher.’ I study scriptures in original languages… I will teach you what’s inside the books, and that’s what I promise. I do not promise to raise anybody or heal anybody.”

Freeze insisted the miracle must happen in a public place, not inside a church, and backed it up with Bible examples. He pointed to Mark chapter 5 where Christ was on his way when Jarius’ daughter fell sick, and Acts chapter 5 where Peter’s shadow healed people on the streets. No church needed, he said, just a public space like a civic center which they’ll book.

He gave Cross a 72-hour ultimatum:

“I’m giving you 72 hours to source your men of God, but if you can not, then you should shut up!”

The challenge has sparked massive debate online, with supporters praising Freeze for demanding accountability while critics accuse him of insensitivity, especially during the mourning period for Alexx Ekubo.
