Ice Prince Reveals Crush on Jemima Amid Celibacy Journey

Rapper Ice Prince has publicly admitted to having a crush on a Nollywood actress identified only as Jemima, while opening up about his ongoing spiritual journey of celibacy.

The “Oleku” hitmaker made the revelation during an interview on the Nevon Media podcast hosted by Rufai Oseni. He described his attraction to the actress, noting they once worked together but have not communicated since.

“A crush is crush and these days, the girls on social media are too plenty. Right now, I like a girl called Jemima—I’m not going to tell you her last name. She’s a Nollywood actress. I’m crushing on her because she’s cool, calm, my type of girl. She’s quite intelligent.”

Although the rapper refused to mention her full identity, many social media users quickly began speculating that he was referring to actress Jemima Osunde, with several fans pointing to her personality and previous interactions within entertainment circles as reasons behind the assumption. Ice Prince, however, did not confirm any surname during the interview.

He also explained why he has intentionally kept his distance despite the attraction.

“We did a job together once and haven’t interacted with each other since. I don’t text because I try to avoid temptation as much as I can.”

Ice Prince further revealed that his celibacy is part of a deeper spiritual journey.

“This celibacy thing for me is more of a spiritual journey.”

He credited rapper Phenom for inspiring him.

“I was inspired to become celibate by Phenom — a rapper I really admire who always told he was celibate but we never took seriously, but then I did some research into it, started seeing the spiritual benefits, and I just picked interest.”

When probed, he listed some of the positive changes he has noticed.

“Some of the benefits include my dreams being clearer, my vision. I speak to God better. I feel cleaner inside.”

The revelation comes shortly after Ice Prince disclosed another shocking aspect of his past lifestyle, revealing that he spent over ₦340 million on weed between 2020 and 2026 before eventually quitting smoking and drinking entirely. His latest comments suggest the rapper is undergoing a significant personal and spiritual reset focused on sobriety, discipline, and clarity.

The interview has sparked major reactions online, with fans debating both the identity of the mystery actress and Ice Prince’s new lifestyle choices. While some praised his honesty and commitment to spiritual growth, others were more focused on uncovering whether Jemima Osunde is truly the woman behind the rapper’s public confession.
