Social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has hit back at BBNaija star Phyna, accusing her of using AI-generated screenshots in their ongoing public feud and challenging her to provide authentic evidence.
The latest twist stems from Phyna’s recent claims that VDM allegedly made sexual advances toward her while she sought help for her late sister’s medical emergency in 2025. Phyna shared alleged chat screenshots where VDM reportedly expressed sexual attraction, though she said most of their conversations occurred via phone calls.
VDM responded firmly, dismissing the screenshots as fake. He challenged Phyna to post a proper screen recording of the conversation while his number remains unsaved, so his contact details would visibly appear in the evidence.
The drama began in August 2025 when Phyna reached out to VDM for assistance with her sister’s terrible accident. VDM initially got involved but later withdrew, accusing Phyna of being more interested in money than her sister’s health. Phyna denied the allegations.
Recently, ahead of her sister’s posthumous birthday, Phyna posted an emotional video that many interpreted as an indirect shot at VDM. She later claimed VDM’s withdrawal was due to her refusing his alleged sexual advances. VDM denied ever making such demands, stating that even if he had expressed interest, they were both adults and he’d have only been asking for her consent. He however insisted he never said those things.
The back-and-forth has divided netizens, with some accusing Phyna of seeking sympathy or attention a year after her sister’s death, while others question VDM’s handling of the initial help request.
