“UK Healthcare Failed My Daughter!” — I Go Save

Popular Nigerian comedian I Go Save has passionately condemned the UK healthcare system after his daughter’s simple ear infection allegedly turned into a prolonged two-year health struggle.

In an emotional Instagram story, the comedian revealed the frustrating ordeal his family endured abroad.

“I’m still shocked at how my daughter’s simple ear infection turned into a prolonged pain that has lasted almost two years.”

I Go Save praised Nigerian doctors for stepping in where the UK system failed. He highlighted the significant improvement his daughter has shown since receiving online help from a Nigerian family doctor.

“Shout-out to my Nigerian family doctor, who has been helping us online, and we’re already witnessing drastic improvements. Thank you, Dr Irhabor (Crespo).”

He urged Nigerian doctors to develop a consultation app for Nigerians in the diaspora, especially those in the UK.

“I just wish Nigerian doctors could build an app where Nigerians in the diaspora, especially in the UK, can consult doctors and get treated quickly.”

The comedian did not mince words in his criticism of the UK system:

“The UK medical system is steadily becoming clueless and nonchalant, no matter how serious the emergency is.”

I Go Save’s public outcry has sparked conversations about healthcare challenges faced by Nigerians living abroad and the perceived superiority of Nigerian medical expertise in certain cases.
