Nigerian nightlife personality and influencer Yhemolee opened up about one of his biggest financial regrets, alongside bold opinions on Nigeria’s electricity crisis and the origin of his famous nickname. Speaking during an interview with Egungun of Lagos, Yhemolee delivered a mix of humor, honesty, and ambition that quickly caught attention.

When asked what he would change if given a chance to rewrite his past, Yhemolee pointed straight to a financial decision he now deeply regrets.

“The BTC I sold.”

Reports show that Yhemolee had up to 40BTC which he sold in 2017.

Beyond personal regrets, Yhemolee also weighed in on a national issue, Nigeria’s long-standing electricity challenges.

“If I became president of Nigeria, I’d do 24 hours electricity.”

He questioned why constant power supply remains a struggle despite progress in other African countries.

“Even the smaller African countries have 24 hours electricity so why can’t we.”

His comment reflects a frustration shared by many Nigerians, as inconsistent power supply continues to affect daily life and businesses across the country.

Switching to a lighter note, the influencer also revealed how his popular name came to life during his university days.

“I got my name from my love for Bangerlee… anytime I scored a goal, I jubilated with the Bangerlee pose and somebody started calling me Yhemolee, Bangerlee’s person.”

The nickname, inspired by D’banj’s “Bangerlee” persona, has since become a recognizable identity in Nigeria’s social and entertainment scene.
