A devoted supporter of Sophia Momodu, known as Jennyblockblog, has publicly withdrawn her backing and begged Davido to drop a reported lawsuit filed against her. The fan took to Instagram to share a screenshot of the investigation invitation, pleading with the singer to let her go as the situation has become too overwhelming.
In her emotional post, Jenny wrote,
“This is me speaking at Sophia’s event. I was invited. I represented the fans. I meant no harm. @davido please withdraw the case you have on me. I am only a Sophia and Imade fan fighting off the constant bullying. This is now getting dangerous, and I wish to withdraw my support.”
She added that she would be deleting all fan pages and repeated her plea:
“Please let me go. Withdraw the case you have on me. I am only a fan defending attacks. I don’t start anything, I don’t go for anybody. I am fatherless and don’t have the heart, the money, or the strength to continue. Please let me go @davido.”
In another post, she questioned the criminality of supporting Sophia.
“So there’s a warrant for my arrest and my only crime was/is supporting Sophia Momodu. To Stan, Sophia now is a crime. To fight back her bullies and that of her child is now a criminal offense. Nigeria has happened to me.”
The development appears to stem from the long-running custody dispute between Davido and Sophia Momodu over their daughter, Imade. Davido had sought joint custody in 2024 but later withdrew the case after a tense courtroom exchange in February 2026. During cross-examination, a reference to his late son reportedly caused him to react strongly. Sophia’s legal team, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, subsequently issued a pre-action notice demanding ₦1 billion in damages and a public apology from Davido over alleged defamation, harassment and cyberbullying.
Jenny insists she has only been defending Sophia and Imade against online attacks and was invited to represent fans at a recent event. Her posts highlight the personal toll the alleged legal action has taken, emphasising her lack of resources and emotional strength to continue the fight.
Jenny’s cry for peace has sparked fresh debate online about fan involvement in celebrity disputes and the limits of online support.
