“Vote Tinubu or Face War” – Portable Threatens Nigerians to Back President

Portable Fires Back Over Alleged Industry Blacklisting

Street-pop singer Portable has thrown his full support behind President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term, urging Nigerians to back the president to ensure peace and avoid conflict similar to the US-Iran situation.

In a widely circulated video, the singer, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, made a passionate request while revealing his early involvement in pro-Tinubu mobilisation efforts. Portable emphasised that supporting Tinubu is the key to stability in the country.

“Nigeriaaa, we need peace, we want peace. If you do not want war in Nigeria, vote Tinubu. I don’t want problem oh. If you do not want like America’s war, follow Tinubu oh. I tell you, the world is wicked.”

Portable also stressed tribal solidarity, declaring:

“It is Yoruba turn for second term oh. Cursed is any Yoruba indigene that doesn’t vote for Tinubu.”

He openly admitted receiving campaign materials and hinted at more to come:

“I’ve only collected clothes, I haven’t collected money. If I collect money, I will tell you. I will share rice, noodles, and palm oil.”

He issued a stern warning to those who have already benefited from the Tinubu administration:

“If you have gotten things from Tinubu, and you refuse to vote Tinubu, may Ogun kill you.”

Addressing critics who bully him for his stance, Portable defended his position:

“They’re saying petrol is now expensive. Even if petrol is a million naira, let God keep providing for me and my fans. For those of you bullying me, who do you expect me to support? I don’t support loser. My fans please support Tinubu.”

This latest declaration adds to Portable’s growing list of political comments, positioning him as one of the most vocal entertainers openly campaigning for the president’s return in 2027.

As the political atmosphere begins to heat up ahead of the next election cycle, Portable intends to remain active in mobilising support for Tinubu.
