Nightlife king and entrepreneur Cubana Chiefpriest lit up the stage at the Renewed Hope Community Engagement event in Owerri, Imo State, with a candid admission that has social media talking. The celebrity club owner shared how his views on President Bola Tinubu evolved from skepticism to strong backing—crediting Tinubu’s son Seyi as the turning point.
The rally, part of the administration’s grassroots outreach to highlight progress in infrastructure, security, and economic reforms, drew crowds under banners proclaiming “Renewed Hope.” Chiefpriest took the mic amid cheers, reflecting on the 2023 elections.
“At the first election, I didn’t support President Tinubu. I had to be an Igbo boy but they said a first fool isn’t a fool, second fool is a proper fool.”
He quickly pivoted to optimism:
“Politics is a game and we’ll never waste our vote again. Asiwaju is working. Seyi Tinubu made me see President Tinubu.”
Chiefpriest highlighted tangible changes under Tinubu, from road projects in Imo to youth empowerment initiatives, positioning the rally as a call to action for 2027. The event featured local leaders and APC figures, with Chiefpriest’s star power adding a certain flair. Whether it sways ballots remains to be seen.
