Tonto Dikeh Sponsors 1000 Students JAMB Registration

Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has sparked widespread admiration and prayers from fans after announcing a major education support initiative for Nigerian students.

The actress revealed she will sponsor free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board registration for 1,000 students, a move she says reflects her long-standing commitment to educational empowerment.

Sharing the news on Instagram, the movie star explained that the initiative is proudly sponsored by the Tonto Dikeh Foundation, with additional support from the King Andre Dikeh Foundation.

However, she clarified that the offer is strictly for students residing in Port Harcourt, Lagos, and Abuja.

In her announcement, she wrote:

“AT THE TONTO DIKEH FOUNDATION, Education is at the heart of our mission. We firmly believe that every child deserves access to quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential.”

She added that the foundation aims to support 5,000 Nigerian students every year through full or partial sponsorship, helping them return to school and build meaningful futures.

“Beyond covering educational expenses, we aim to empower these young minds to grow into responsible, skilled individuals who will contribute meaningfully to national development and the future of our country.”

She also informed interested applicants that state coordinators’ phone numbers will be released soon.

“PS: I will be posting the phone Numbers for the different state coordinators by Next week. Pls no DMs…”

The announcement triggered an outpouring of prayers and praise in her comment section, with many commending her consistency in humanitarian service.

Dikeh is no stranger to giving back. Over the years, she has received recognition for her charity work, including sponsoring thousands of girls’ education annually, supporting disabled communities with infrastructure, and providing welfare outreach across Rivers State and beyond.

From funding scholarships and donating prosthetic limbs to supporting widows and the elderly, the actress has repeatedly described helping humanity as a core life mission.

Her latest gesture, giving 1,000 students access to higher education opportunities has once again positioned her as one of Nigeria’s most visible celebrity philanthropists.
