Rita Edochie Slams Judy Austin Over Marriage Advice

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has launched another fierce attack on her junior colleague Judy Austin, accusing her of hypocrisy over recent marriage advice she shared online.

The latest clash comes after Judy advised women to be intentional with their partners and warned against marrying a man simply because of pregnancy.

Reacting in a lengthy Instagram post, Rita questioned how Judy could preach against an act she allegedly committed herself.

“How can someone boldly preach against an act she’s already guilty of?” Rita wrote.

She described Judy’s message as “an indirect self-judgement, a silent confession wrapped in fake wisdom.”

The veteran actress also questioned Judy’s relationship with Yul Edochie, asking if it was not pregnancy that led to their union while he was still married.

“How do you warn others against a road you built a house on? Isn’t that hypocrisy wearing perfume?” she asked.

Rita went further, telling Judy and others to stop deceiving the public in the name of advice.

“If we must preach, let’s preach from a place of truth, not from the same dirt we’re trying to cover up,” she wrote.

She also criticized what she called “online sainthood,” insisting that people should not dish out morality lessons while their own history remains controversial.

According to Rita, Judy is not fit to advise young women and may simply be chasing attention.

“Don’t confuse attention with relevance… sometimes, the loudest voices are the most guilty ones,” she added.

The outspoken actress ended her post with a warning that she would return with “Part Two,” signalling the feud may not be ending anytime soon.

This is not the first time Rita has publicly criticised Judy, especially over her relationship with Yul and the family tensions that followed his separation from May Edochie.
