Nigerian comedian Akpororo has expressed excitement after receiving a cash gift of $15,000 from Grammy-winning music star Burna Boy.
The comedian shared the moment on his Instagram page on Thursday, posting a video showing him holding the cash and expressing disbelief at the generous gesture.
“@burnaboygram what do you want from me. You get doings abeg,” Akpororo captioned the post.
In the video, he could be heard saying:
“Burna Boy don spoil everywhere, $15,000. Who dey check am, who dey zuzu? U dey whine me ni? OluwaBurna don spoil everywhere, no vex.”
The post quickly drew reactions from fans, who praised Burna Boy for the surprise gift and celebrated the bond between the comedian and the music star.
Akpororo rose to fame after winning the Calabar zone of the National Comedy Challenge in 2008, later cementing his status with a win at the AY Open Mic Challenge in Lagos. He is renowned for blending music with comedy in his performances and has featured in multiple films and comedy shows.
