Doctor Suggested Another Man Impregnate Me — Nkubi’s Wife Reveals

Vivian Nkwirula, wife of actor Nwaogu Udochukwu Victor, widely known as Nkubi, has shared a shocking experience she says happened during a medical consultation while pregnant with their child.

Speaking in a recent interview, Vivian revealed that her doctor questioned her decision to conceive with her husband because he lives with dwarfism, and allegedly suggested alternatives that left her stunned.

“The doctor asked, ‘Does anyone have a trait of dwarfism in your family?’ and I said, ‘Yes, that is my husband.’ The doctor said why didn’t you go to your brother-in-law, or outside to get pregnant, instead of getting pregnant for your husband. Or even get a sperm donor. That’s what the doctor told me.”

Her account has triggered emotional reactions from many who see the statement as deeply inappropriate and insensitive.

Vivian’s experience reflects the challenges the couple say they have faced since choosing each other. The pair, who welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in 2024, have often spoken openly about navigating public scrutiny.

She previously shared how she was mocked during a visit to the market. According to her, someone recognized her not for her identity, but for marrying Nkubi.

She recalled being told the person remembered her “because I got married to a short man with a big head.” Despite the criticism, Vivian says she has never regretted her choice. In fact, she was the one who made the first move in their love story.

She revealed that she discovered Nkubi on a friend’s Facebook page, sent him a friend request after viewing his profile, and the rest became history.

Nkubi, however, insists he was the first to say the words “I love you” that sealed their bond. For the actor, their relationship proves one simple truth, love is not defined by physical appearance. According to him, love finds people regardless of stature.

Their story continues to resonate as one of resilience, love, and standing firm in the face of social prejudice.
