Queen Dami, the ex-wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, has escalated her long-running feud with controversial singer Portable after filing another lawsuit against him.
Taking to her Instagram page, Queen Dami shared screenshots of a fresh legal petition served on the singer, demanding an immediate withdrawal and retraction of statements she described as false and damaging.
In the legal notice, her lawyer condemned Portable’s actions, calling them a “reckless, wicked and dangerous play” aimed at tarnishing Dami’s image and reputation.
The petition further warned that failure to retract the statements and issue a public apology could lead to further legal action, including claims for monetary damages.
The lawsuit comes just hours after Portable, during a heated live video, accused Queen Dami of denying their relationship publicly. The singer claimed they had reconciled and that he had been spending nights with her, insisting that she was lying by saying he “doesn’t exist.”
Reacting swiftly, Queen Dami released the legal documents online and firmly denied Portable’s claims, stating that he is her ex and that she is no longer in any relationship with him.
She insisted that allegations suggesting she visits him or is sexually involved with him are “completely false,” stressing that she has moved on with her life.
Queen Dami also warned the singer to stop spreading “false and sexualised stories” about her, noting that she wants nothing more to do with him.
Recall that following the death of the Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Dami went public with her relationship with Portable, a move that sparked widespread controversy. The singer later confirmed their affair in a 2023 interview, claiming she was initially just a fan.
Their relationship later turned messy, playing out publicly through accusations, leaked chats, emotional breakdowns, and reconciliations that repeatedly drew public backlash.
With this latest legal move, it appears Queen Dami is drawing a firm line, signaling that she is no longer willing to handle the dispute on social media.
