Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A, has reacted to rumours suggesting that he physically abuses his wife, Bamike Olawunmi, also known as Bambam.
The reality TV star addressed the allegations during a recent interview, dismissing the claims as false and misleading.
“They said I was beating my wife,” Teddy A said, while firmly denying the reports.
According to him, the rumours were based on assumptions rather than facts, stressing that outsiders often speculate about marriages without understanding what truly goes on behind closed doors.
The father of two admitted that like every marriage, disagreements and misunderstandings can happen, but he maintained that the claims of domestic violence were completely untrue.
Teddy A further explained that being a public figure comes with intense scrutiny, noting that social media narratives often shape opinions about celebrities, even when such narratives lack evidence.
He added that incomplete information shared online can easily spiral into damaging rumours, especially when amplified by blogs and gossip pages.
Teddy A and Bambam met during the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija, where their relationship began under public watch. The couple got engaged in 2019, held their traditional wedding in Ogun State, and later had a white wedding in Dubai.
They currently have two children together and remain one of the most talked-about couples to emerge from the reality show.
Bambam has previously opened up about challenges she faced after childbirth, including postpartum depression, while both partners have consistently described their marriage as one that requires patience, communication, and continuous effort.
