Nollywood veteran and TAMPAN president, Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, has publicly appreciated actor Femi Adebayo for what he described as a rare and heartfelt act of kindness.
Taking to Instagram, Mr Latin revealed that Adebayo showed up on his movie set without asking for payment, conditions, or special treatment.
“My dear brother @femiadebayosalami, you came to my set without conditions, without bills, without expectations — just from the heart — it reminds you that good people still exist. I am sincerely grateful for this rare show of love. May God repay you in ways money can’t buy.”
The emotional message has sparked reactions online, especially as it comes amid ongoing allegations circulating on social media about Adebayo’s relationship with his estranged wife and their child.
Mr Latin’s post painted Adebayo as a generous colleague who showed support purely out of goodwill. Fans and industry insiders praised the gesture, calling it a reminder of unity in Nollywood.
However, the show of appreciation comes at a time when blogger Yeye Kudi Court has raised concerns online, alleging that Adebayo mistreated his estranged wife, Iyana Aduke, and their autistic child. These claims surfaced after Aduke’s Yaba-based eatery was reportedly sealed over an alleged unpaid bank loan.
The blogger further alleged that Aduke was asked to vacate both her home and business premises without prior notice. Femi Adebayo has not publicly responded to these allegations.
This is not the first time Mr Latin has publicly acknowledged kindness from colleagues. The veteran actor recently thanked actress Yetunde Barnabas for a Christmas gift, offering prayers for her success.
Last year, he also made headlines after accepting a public apology from actress Nkechi Blessing, who admitted her mistakes and appealed to TAMPAN leaders to lift her suspension. Mr Latin commended her courage for apologizing openly.
Mr Latin himself has faced criticism in the past. Veteran actor Pariolodo once accused him of refusing to assist during a difficult period. In response, Mr Latin stated in an interview that TAMPAN had spent over ₦10 million on Pariolodo’s health and explained that the association cannot help actors who are not registered members.
Now, his heartfelt message to Femi Adebayo is making waves, with many seeing it as a public show of solidarity during a difficult moment.
