Popular on-air personality Do2dtun has stirred fresh debate after reacting to the reconciliation between Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh and her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.
Following Tonto’s emotional public message about forgiveness and peace, Do2tun shared a different perspective, suggesting that Churchill, not Tonto, may be the one who deserves forgiveness.
In a post shared online, he wrote:
“Tonto is not the victim here. Yes, she forgave, but I think if anyone needs to forgive anyone here, it’s Churchill. She might have been in the marriage, but I wish her forgiveness note was more detailed, especially in addressing the labels and tags. The stigma and reputation attached to that man will never be erased.”
Do2dtun acknowledged that Tonto was part of the troubled marriage but questioned the depth of her public statement. According to him, the reconciliation message did not fully address the long-term impact of the serious allegations previously made against Churchill.

His statement quickly gained attention online, with social media users divided. While some agreed with Do2dtun’s position, arguing that Churchill’s public image suffered lasting damage, others defended Tonto, saying forgiveness does not always require public explanations or revisiting painful details.
Do2dtun further stressed that forgiveness goes beyond emotional words, especially when public stigma and reputation are involved.
The reconciliation between Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill has continued to generate headlines, with many Nigerians expressing hope that their renewed peace will positively affect their co-parenting journey.
