Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo has come under online criticism following allegations about how he allegedly treats his estranged wife, Iyana Aduke, and their autistic child.
The claims surfaced after a Yoruba blogger known as Yeye Kudi Court spoke out in a video reacting to the recent closure of Aduke’s Yaba-based eatery.
Aduke had trended days earlier after reports emerged that her restaurant was sealed by the Armed Forces over an alleged unpaid bank loan. According to circulating claims, the property was reportedly used as collateral for a loan that later went into default.
Weighing in, Yeye Kudi Court alleged that the actor was contacted during the incident and made statements suggesting links to the financial matter. These claims, however, remain unverified.
The blogger also raised concerns about the welfare of the couple’s autistic child, questioning why, according to her, the same level of public attention and care shown to Adebayo’s other children is not seen in this case.
She further alleged that Aduke was asked to vacate both her residence and business premises without notice — an allegation that has not been independently confirmed.
The emotional video has since sparked heated conversations online, with many social media users calling for empathy and better support for families raising children with special needs.
Femi Adebayo and Iyana Aduke’s relationship has been the subject of public speculation in recent years. The couple, who once openly celebrated their marriage online, began fueling breakup rumours after reportedly unfollowing each other on Instagram.
In past social media posts, Aduke had hinted at marital struggles and publicly accused individuals she believed contributed to issues in her marriage. Another woman previously mentioned in the drama denied responsibility and countered the claims.
Despite occasional throwback videos suggesting moments of reconciliation, the situation has remained unclear to the public.
