Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again stirred drama online after openly declaring that he has only one wife in 2026, while every other woman who has a child for him should be addressed as a baby mama.
The outspoken singer made the declaration in a heated video shared a day after the New Year, where he was seen arguing with some women during a tense confrontation.
In the viral clip, one of the women, identified as Ashabi, was seen angrily grabbing Portable by his shirt while exchanging words with him. Despite the chaos, Portable stood his ground, insisting that his marital status was no longer up for debate.
Speaking firmly, the singer said:
“2026, it is one wife, baby mamas. Bewaji is my only wife, the rest of you are baby mamas.”
Reaffirming his loyalty to Bewaji, Portable added that peace of mind was the ultimate proof of a good marriage.
“A good wife gives you peace of mind,” he said, referring to Bewaji as the only woman he recognizes as his wife.
As the argument continued, Ashabi could be heard in the background saying:
“Pami baby (kill me baby).”
