Beyoncé Officially Becomes Billionaire, Forbes Confirms

Global music icon Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has officially entered billionaire territory.

According to Forbes, the Grammy-winning superstar has surpassed a $1 billion net worth as of December 29, 2025, cementing her status as one of the wealthiest entertainers in the world.

The milestone comes after a historic year powered by her Cowboy Carter World Tour, which grossed over $407 million, making it the highest-grossing solo tour of 2025, according to industry estimates.

Beyond ticket sales, Forbes reports that Beyoncé earned an additional $50 million from merchandise alone, with her production company Parkwood Entertainment handling the tour end-to-end, allowing her to retain higher profit margins.

But music is only part of the empire. Beyoncé’s diversified business portfolio played a major role in pushing her net worth past the billion-dollar mark. Her ventures include Parkwood Entertainment, her Cécred haircare brand, SirDavis whisky, and a reported $50 million-plus deal tied to her NFL Christmas halftime show performance.

At 44, the pop powerhouse also reinvented herself creatively in 2024 with the release of Cowboy Carter, a country-inspired album that expanded her audience and opened new commercial lanes, from brand partnerships to crossover performances.

Forbes estimates that Beyoncé earned $148 million in 2025 alone before taxes, making her the third-highest-paid musician in the world this year.

With this achievement, Beyoncé joins an elite list of musician billionaires that includes Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen. Notably, she now stands alongside her husband, Jay-Z, as one-half of one of entertainment’s most powerful billionaire couples.

Forbes also notes that Beyoncé becomes the fifth musician to reach billionaire status, and one of the fastest to do so following a major touring cycle. Nearly half of the 22 billionaire entertainers identified by the publication have crossed the threshold within the last three years.

From music to fashion, spirits to stadiums, Beyoncé’s rise to billionaire status underscores her evolution from global pop star to full-scale business mogul, proving once again that Queen Bey doesn’t just make hits, she builds empires.
