Doris Ogala Confirms Talks With Pastor Chris Okafor

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has provided a fresh update on her highly publicised face-off with the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor, revealing that resolution talks are currently ongoing.

The actress made the disclosure days after she was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command following allegations she made against the clergyman, whom she accused of failing to fulfil a marriage promise to her.

Ogala was arrested on Saturday and spent two nights in police custody before she was released on Monday afternoon. According to her, the pastor later reached out, seeking a peaceful resolution to the matter.

Speaking in a new video shared online, the actress confirmed that discussions were already underway, noting that she has remained in Lagos to see how the talks unfold.

“Talks is going on now, resolution is ongoing at the moment. I’m still in Lagos, I’m not back in Abuja. I want to know where it’s heading, and I want to know the end of this table talk,” she said.

Ogala added that she intends to seek divine direction before taking her next steps, stressing that she has a lot more to reveal but wants to proceed with wisdom.

“I will come back, and I will seek God’s face. I will ask God the next direction, what should I do because at the moment, I don’t know what to do,” she stated.

The actress further hinted that the public is yet to hear the full details of her claims, noting that what she shared online before her arrest barely scratched the surface.

“I have a lot to say, I have a lot I want to reveal, I have a lot I want the world to learn from this. What I just said online is nothing to what I was about to say before my arrest,” she said.

Despite her strong emotions, Ogala maintained that she does not want the situation to escalate into something tragic.

“I don’t want to have anyone’s blood on my hand. I’m not afraid of anyone, I’m not afraid of going to jail. All I want is to speak my truth, and my truth I will speak,” she added.

The controversy has continued to spark intense reactions on social media, with many Nigerians closely watching to see how the ongoing talks between the actress and the clergyman will eventually be resolved.
